Honouring Saint Devota, Monaco's patron saint

Every year, the people of Monaco celebrate their patron saint, known as Saint Devota, with a solemn and impressive maritime ceremony.

The event, which dates back more than 1,000 years, involves the burning of a boat in the picturesque setting of Monaco's main harbor.

FLASH ART has once again been given the honor of contributing its pyrotechnic expertise to this event with a spectacular firework display over the harbor, in the presence of Monaco's royal family, as well as residents and thousands of visitors.

It is the fifth consecutive year that FLASH ART has been invited to take part in this event.
