Pyronale 2009 – The Largest Citroen Logo of All Times

On 4th and 5th September 2009 the famous Berlin Pyronale enchanted, as in previous years, the spectators on the Maifeld at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. Fireworks artists from all over the world demonstrated their abilities. FLASH ART once again participated in this year’s Pyronale, offering support to the participating teams and assistance to the Pyronale Plc in the technical implementation.

Following a brilliant fireworks choreography by teams from Austria, Singapore, Spain, Poland, South Africa and Turkey, FLASH ART presented its fireworks artistry at the end of the evening, outside of the competition. The largest Citroen logo ever presented in public lit up the sky over Berlin. The main sponsor’s logotype was put into effect by FLASH ART on the 77m bell tower. The brand name ‘Citroen’ was 35m wide and nearly 5m tall. More than 1,500 figure lights were used to light up the logotype. The 40m wide Citroen logo appeared at 70m above the ground, put into effect by pyrotechnical water cascades. FLASH ART technicians met the challenges of this amazing project, greatly enthusing the audience. We would therefore like to thank all participants.
