The challenge
Providing the Tabaluga Tour with pyrotechnical gas and fire effects to underline the story

The solution
The small as well as the big effects underlined the story and created a frosty or fiery atmosphere. 19 fog machines were on the stage. Their different capacities wrapped the wizards, silver vixens, penguins and a snowman in magical clouds.
As the main character was a dragon, it is no surprise that the central theme in this musical is fire. 6 lycopodium flame pots shot big, impressive flame columns out of the stage border, in time with the music. The lycopodium is blown by air press over the ignition source. The dust cloud inflames and creates a controlled dust explosion. A wonderful effect! The heat of the flames could be felt in the first rows of the audience. In 4 big, round flame pots the fire burned on the central stage. The flames cast a warm glow over the guitar performance of Peter Maffay. During the fire song, the spectators even applauded for the controlled flame show.
Fog was another important element of the production. 8 white, fizzing fog sources took orders from Bertram Engel, while he sang the song “Luck and glass”. 8 outlets opened up and dispensed cold, fluid carbonic acid in form of white, dangerous looking, fizzling fog columns. The fluid gas has an initial pressure of 50 bars and at temperature of 29 degrees below zero – you can see it. At the top of the fog sources flocculates the frozen moisture.
Breathtaking effects let the show end in an unforgettable experience for the audience.
